Metropolis hosts snack themed exhibit Snack ‘N Snap

From July 11-28, Metropolis at Metrotown’s visitors snacked and snapped their way through Metropolis’s Snack ‘N Snap exhibit with larger-than-life food art displays such as a giant pink donut, 10-foot lollipop tree, giant cupcake house, jumbo pretzel, and more. They also had the opportunity to sample sweet & savoury treats from snack retailers such as MUJI, Godiva, Sugarfina and Squish, as well as a pop-up cotton candy cart. Workshop Wednesdays gave visitors the opportunity to learn how to decorate their own sugar cookie taught by Sugar Sugar Studios. Back by popular demand, the “Guess how many jellybeans” contest challenged visitors to figure out how many jellybeans were showcased in a display case for a chance to win a $1000 shopping spree. Metropolis also gave away various social media prizes, including gift certificates and prize packages sponsored by retailers.
