About BCSCA
The BC Shopping Centre Association is a non-profit organization focused on supporting the development of the retail industry. This is done through networking events bringing the membership together. Its membership is composed primarily of retail and related business professionals.
The organizing board is composed of individuals nominated and confirmed by the membership at the beginning of every year during an AGM. Every Board of Director member fulfills his/ her responsibilities on a voluntary basis but is expected to represent the best interest of the association.
Our Goal
The BCSCA has a membership of over 160 shopping centre representatives and 40 supporting suppliers. It is made up of Shopping Centre Managers, Developers, Owners, Leasing Representatives, Marketing Professionals and Suppliers with the shared goal of enhancing B.C.’s shopping centres through communication, education, research and advocacy.
2024 Board Members
Janna Vohora
General Manager, Guildford Town Centre, JLL.
Janna is currently the general manager for Guildford Town Centre. A priced property managed by Jones Lang LaSalle, located in the growing Surrey Community. Prior to this post, she was part of the Ivanhoe Cambridge team managing the operations of Metrotown, the largest shopping centre in BC. Needless to say, she has extensive experience in the industry and will stir the BCSCA association as its current President.
Charles Fleck
Ivanhoe Cambridge, Metropolis at Metrotown
Charles Fleck is the Vice President of Operations and property management expert at Jones Lang LaSalle in Burnaby, BC. He leads the Property Management function, overseeing nationally ranked Full Price Centres like Metropolis at Metrotown. With extensive experience, he is accredited by ICSC and was named one of BC’s top 500 business leaders by BIV.

Director of Business Development for Indigo
Rob is an award-winning growth leader known for innovative campaigns that inspire brand loyalty. With over 20 years of experience, he has a proven track record with Canada’s top companies. Rob has built marketing practices in Montreal and Vancouver. In 2022, he joined Indigo Park Canada to expand their footprint in BC, reimagining post-pandemic revenue opportunities.
Cleon Sawyer
Director Retail and Aviation Bee Clean Building Maintenance
With 36 years of experience in the contract cleaning industry, I have had the privilege of serving as the Director of Retail and Aviation at Bee Clean Building Maintenance from 2019 to the present, Director of Client Services at Dexterra from 2015 to 2019, and GM at Compass Canada from 2006 to 2015
Jeff Tassone
Business Development Manager – BC & Canada’s North, Dexterra
Jeff is responsible for all commercial pursuits and retention within BC & Canada’s North. He is active in the community as a Board of Director member to a few associations and participating in many community initiatives.
Kyle Olinek

With 18 years in construction, building lasting relationships with partners and clients is my passion. My EZEE team and I strive to listen, communicate clearly, and meet expectations. Being on the BCSCA board is a privilege I’m excited about.
Ryan Fergie
Guest Services Manager, CF Pacific Centre
Ryan has extensive hospitality experience with Four Seasons Vancouver, Ritz-Carlton Toronto, and Royal Caribbean. Since returning to Vancouver in 2020, he leads the Guest Services team at CF Pacific Centre. Outside work, he enjoys walking his puppy, HRH Princess Margaret, along the Seawall, savoring Vancouver’s views.
Jim Southall
Director of Business Development, BEST Service Pros
Jim Southall, Director of Business Development with 15 years in custodial and janitorial services, spent 14 years at BEST Service Pros. He holds a BBA in marketing from Bishop’s University and has training in Lean Methodology and negotiations. Jim also volunteers at the Union Gospel Mission.
Lynne Gonzaga
Lead Strategist/ Partner, Strategic Lift
Lynne has nearly 20 years in the Retail Industry, co-owning and owning several businesses. She is now building a consulting firm offering fractional marketing, project management leadership, and business consulting services.
Bronwyn Bailey
Marketing Manager, Lansdowne Centre/ Colliers
Bronwyn, a long-time BCSCA director, has volunteered at various events and has extensive retail industry expertise. She currently leads marketing at Lansdowne Centre, a premier shopping center in Richmond, BC.
