McArthurGlen Vancouver Hosts Sparkle Brighter

McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Vancouver Airport ignited the holiday spirit with their annual Sparkle Brighter event on November 22nd. Now in its fourth year, the centre invited special guests from the North Pole to help light its signature 55-foot Christmas tree complete with over 1,300 baubles and 12,000 twinkling lights. Guests enjoyed family-friendly activities including Christmas carols and complimentary photos with Santa.

Keeping up with its reputation as the destination for Christmas decorations, the centre is decked out in true winter wonderland style with an Insta-worthy giant ornament stack, festive holiday wall, life-sized Nutcrackers and more, creating the perfect photo opportunity and transporting shoppers to the North Pole.

To help shoppers get a head start on holiday shopping, select brands such as Michael Kors, Coach, & Under Armour offered a sneak peek of their Black Friday deals a day early on Thursday, November 22nd.

“Ringing in the holiday season with our community has become one of our favourite traditions at the centre,” says Robert Thurlow, General Manager of McArthurGlen Vancouver.

For the diehard Black Friday shoppers, the centre opened two hours earlier at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, November 23rd with lineups starting as early as 6:00 a.m. With the centre being a short jaunt from Templeton station, shoppers were encouraged to take the Canada Line to avoid additional wait times in traffic over the weekend.
