Coquitlam Centre #FreshForSpring

From March 28 to April 14, Coquitlam Centre executed the #FreshForSpring Beauty Box Campaign and Self-Care Saturday Beauty Showcase. To increase reach and brand awareness, Coquitlam Centre leveraged their social media channels, paid influencer partnerships, and unpaid brand ambassadors, prior to and during the in-centre activation. Retailers provided this season’s top beauty products to create 30 amazing Spring Beauty Boxes, valued at over $375 each.

Coquitlam Centre partnered with nine beauty and fashion bloggers/influencers – Alicia Haque, Bree Aylwin, Brittany Pesklevits, Emma Leger, Fiona Forbes, Gelsea Mae, Kristina Cross, Leslie Rossi and Mary Zilba – to successfully launch the #FreshForSpring Beauty Box Campaign. Coquitlam Centre further leveraged unpaid brand ambassadors – Krystin Tysire, Samantha Sito and Tiera Skovbye for additional coverage. Each influencer received a Spring Beauty Box with 25 products to ‘unveil’ on Instagram. Bloggers/influencers were also provided with an extra Beauty Box to give away through an Instagram contest.

Tapping into influencers for this campaign allowed Coquitlam Centre to expend its reach and increase overall awareness of its beauty and self-care offerings and retailers to new and existing audiences.

As part of the Spring Beauty Box Campaign, Coquitlam Centre ran a 12-day contest to give away five beauty boxes on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, reaching 17,065 and achieving 2,094 engagements.

  • Instagram Story impressions delivered 259,674 impressions

At Self-Care Saturday on April 14 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., more than 14 Coquitlam Centre retailers and services provided self-care samplings and ‘pamper stations’ in the common-area. Over 1,200 shoppers dropped by to meet their favourite beauty and fashion Influencers, talk to beauty and skincare specialists, while sampling the latest in spring beauty products. Over $4,300 in prizing (donated by retailers) was given away during the event.
